Privacy policy
This policy explains what Grow AI Skills currently collects and what happens when you use a browser-local tool, email us, download a file, or follow an external link.
Effective date: September 12, 2026
Information collected automatically
The website does not currently offer accounts, comments, or server-submitted contact forms. Like most web hosting, the server may record technical logs such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, referrer, user agent, response status, and security events. These logs are used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may also collect or receive the browser, device, usage, and advertising information described below.
Google Analytics
Grow AI Skills uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as page visits, sessions, approximate location, and browser or device information. When a page loads, the browser may send Google the page URL, IP address, and related technical information. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies, including _ga, to distinguish users and sessions.
We use these reports to understand which pages and features are useful and to improve the website. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, form text, clipboard contents, downloaded-file contents, or the contents of your local learning list to Google Analytics. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google AdSense and advertising
Grow AI Skills uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize, limit, and measure ads; prevent fraud and abuse; and produce advertising reports. Information processed for these purposes may include your IP address, browser or device information, the page you visit, approximate location, cookie or advertising identifiers, consent choices, and interactions with ads.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Grow AI Skills and other websites. Depending on your location and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect website or advertising features.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Grow AI Skills uses a Google-certified consent management platform to request and communicate applicable consent choices. You can use the privacy choices link shown on the site, when available in your region, to revisit those choices. Google provides more information in How Google uses cookies in advertising and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Device-local learning data
Saved guides, completed guides, recent reading, and learning-path progress are stored in your browser using local storage. That list is not sent to Grow AI Skills and does not follow you to another browser or device. You can remove it from the My Learning page or through your browser settings.
Browser-local tools
The AI Workflow Brief Builder has no model or API connection. The form text is processed in the page, is not submitted to Grow AI Skills, and is not written to the site's database or learning-data storage. Copying uses your browser clipboard permission, and the Markdown download is created on your device.
The site can record a predefined anonymous aggregate event when the tool is opened, a brief is generated, copied, or downloaded. The event contains the tool identifier, not the form fields, generated brief, clipboard contents, or downloaded file.
Anonymous aggregate events
To understand whether site features are useful, the browser can send a small event name with a guide or learning-path identifier. Examples include a guide view, a completed step, a filter used, or a resource download. The site stores only daily aggregate counts for these predefined events. It does not store an account identifier, cookie identifier, raw search phrase, form text, or the contents of your local learning list in the event table.
These aggregate events are operational measurements, not user profiles. Normal hosting logs may still contain the technical request information described above.
If you email us, we receive the address and content you choose to send. We use it to respond, investigate corrections, and maintain an editorial record. Do not send sensitive personal or confidential business information.
Practice-file downloads
Practice PDFs, spreadsheets, Markdown checklists, CSV fixtures, and Python fixtures are served directly by this website. The server may log the request in the same way it logs a page visit. The files do not intentionally contain tracking pixels, scripts that contact third parties, or spreadsheet macros.
External services and links
Articles may link to third-party sources or offer a video that loads only after you choose to activate it. When you visit or load a third-party service, its own privacy policy applies. Grow AI Skills does not control how that service processes data.
Retention and sharing
Technical logs and correspondence are retained only as reasonably needed for security, operations, corrections, or legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Hosting and email providers, and Google as our analytics and advertising provider, may process limited data as necessary to provide their services. Google's retention practices apply to information processed by Google.
Policy changes
If accounts, forms, additional analytics, advertising partners, or other data collection is added or materially changed, this page will be updated before or when the change launches.
